Operating scope
Candidacy to be one of three European autonomous-mobility testbeds sought by the European Commission, and potentially the first cross-border one, covering the Karlovy Vary region with Bavaria and Saxony. The region's stated selling point is that it offers all categories of road in one compact, comprehensively managed territory: 'Prave tato kombinace je v evropskem meritku unikatni, protoze jinde testovani pokryva zpravidla jen jeden typ silnice na relativne malem uzemi.'
